Canadian History Sub Plans – Significant Moments
Use these Canadian History sub plans about significant moments in Canada’s history to supplement your Canadian Social Studies or History lessons. In this fun activity, students watch three videos about various events (The British North America Act, Centre Block, 1916 Parliament Fire), answer comprehension questions, and write a journal entry about the videos. This resource is also great for introducing Canadian History/Social Studies to your classes. This lesson requires access to the internet for the videos.
- This resource contains individual PDFs of student pages to assist with online learning, i.e. Google Classroom™. The unit also comes with Google Slides™ versions of the included lessons for 1:1 technology schools.
