Your students will especially love this digital escape room as it will challenge their knowledge on something that you, the teacher, most likely know all about and grew up with – retro technology!
Why should students learn about retro technology?
Learning about retro technology will be exciting and eye-opening for your students. They’ll get to learn what the very first TV channel was, see some old-school gaming systems and computers, learn about some of the first cellular devices, and more.
Having your students learn about this old-school technology in this retro Back to School Digital Escape Room can help students appreciate the advancements made in modern technology, as well as gain an understanding of how technology has evolved over time. They might be shocked to learn that the television wasn’t even invented until the late 1920s!
To see even more shock and awe in your students’ faces, bring in some of your old technology to show them once the retro technology digital escape room is finished – they might really love to see an old Walkman, floppy disc, or flip phone! And it’s always fun to reminisce on the past.
