Poetry Digital Escape Room

Poetry digital escape rooms are so much fun! April is National Poetry Month, and what better way to celebrate than with a poetry-themed digital escape room?

This activity will give students the opportunity to work together or independently to “escape” the poetry museum storage room they accidentally got locked in. They will use any prior knowledge of poetry, as well as learn new things about poetry while completing the required challenges to escape. Students will learn about spoken word poetry, test their knowledge of various poetry types, and challenge their knowledge about hyperboles, similes, metaphors, and so much more!

These digital escape rooms are perfect for both in-person and online classrooms, and the bonus is that they are absolutely NO PREP – easy just to grab and go when you need an activity. Students usually take anywhere from 30-60 minutes to complete.
