Fun Space Digital Escape Room

Use this space digital escape room with your students to help them explore and enjoy space.

Have you ever tried a space digital escape room with your students to help them explore and enjoy space? Space is a beautiful, vast landscape of stars and constellations, planets and meteors. With our feet rooted firmly on Earth, it’s hard to imagine what it would be like to be out in space.

Surely, it’s only something an astronaut could do, right? With that in mind, have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel to the International Space Station?

With this digital escape room, you won’t have to wonder!

Digital escape rooms are great for students because they are not only challenging and informative, but they’re fun and interactive (all kids can play at once!), there is no teacher or student prep required, and students love solving the out-of-the-box challenges!

Space Digital Escape Room

Use this space digital escape room with your students to help them explore and enjoy space.

In this space-themed digital escape room, students are faced with a series of challenges to “escape” the International Space Station they’ve become trapped on and return to Earth.

Note: These challenges are all online and computer-based; no students are locked in any spaces. It is just part of the storyline of the digital escape room.

This space digital escape room provides students with the opportunity to work independently or with their peers to solve 10 space-related challenges. Students must solve these required challenges to “escape” from the International Space Station they have accidentally become trapped on.

This is a perfect activity to help build community with cooperative learning and engage students in social-emotional learning for 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. This digital escape room should take your students about 30 minutes to 60 minutes to complete from start to finish. Once this escape room is purchased, the teacher will get access to a Google Form link that is 100% editable and customizable for your classroom needs. No prep is required from the teacher or students – all that is needed is a teacher Google Drive account. Students can use Google Forms without having a Google account. Teacher Reviews

“At the end of our SPACE UNIT students partnered to take on this challenge.  They loved the variety of challenges – articles, puzzles, word matching, videos etc and using their acquired knowledge to tackle these 10 challenges.  Aside from booking laptops to work on, my job is to sit back and enjoy their engagement. Well worth the cost.”

“This was exactly what I needed to help complete my space unit! My students have their unit test later this week and this was great review for some of the content we had discussed. It was engaging and the students were excited to complete it. I also had zero tech issues which was great! I’d say most students finished in 25-30 minutes but some needed a bit more time. I for sure will be purchasing more of these escape rooms in the future!”

Try out this Space Digital Escape Room with your students and see if you can escape. Not only will it be a fun challenge for all, but it will get your students excited to learn more about space. If their interest is piqued, why not try out my Grade 6 Science Space Unit
