Middle School French Immersion Lessons

Use these middle school French immersion lessons to help teach the Ontario Social Studies curriculum in an engaging way.

Are you looking for junior and intermediate (Grade 6, 7, 8) French immersion lessons?

French immersion teachers have expressed their frustration with the lack of available engaging lessons for students in this age group. Junior/intermediate French immersion teachers face the challenge of finding resources that are appealing to students but that are also at the level of French their students need.

2 Peas and a Dog has created French immersion lessons for Grades 6 through 8 Social Studies, Geography and History.

Find out more about each lesson in this article.

Important Teacher Note: For all French immersion lessons by 2 Peas and a Dog all student-facing pages are in French and all teacher-facing pages are in English. This was done to keep the cost of translation down so that the English and French units are priced the same. All videos are in English due to the challenge of finding French content. This resource was translated for use in French Immersion classrooms.
