Free Sub Plans

These free sub plans can help middle school teachers with their lesson planning if they will be absent from the classroom.

Some districts require teachers to have ready-to-go sub-plans uploaded in their LMS (Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, etc.,.) or printed out and stored on the teacher’s desk or in a common area such as the front office.

I wanted to share two different free sub plans resources that you can use if you are looking for middle school sub plans. 

Free Sub Plans

Middle School ELA Sub Plans – Topic One Child Policy Use these ready-to-go no-prep sub plans for middle school ELA classes. All the teacher needs to do is upload the sub plans to a secure online location and then students can complete the engaging before, during, and after reading/viewing activities. Students will learn about the One Child Policy and its current updates. This lesson can be completed on paper or on the provided Google Slides. Middle School ELA Emergency Sub Plans – Use these ready-to-go pre-made lesson plans for middle school ELA classes. Lessons have been divided up into reading, writing, speaking/listening, and media literacy. Use these lessons to help students review concepts previously taught throughout the year.
