This past year I was the school librarian for my Kindergarten through Grade 8 school. I have made a list of popular books that would engage students who enjoy reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Big Nate type novels. The 4th and 5th-grade novels in this list could also be of interest to a 3rd grade or 6th-grade reader.  The books will be sure to entertain and delight young readers.
